Doyon Emerald Announces William J. Breighner as Senior Vice President
Emerald Consulting Group LLC (Doyon Emerald) is pleased to announce that William Breighner has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. Mr. Breighner is launching the firm's new DC Metro office to establish a strong Doyon Emerald presence on the East Coast to serve new and existing commercial and federal clients.
Mr. Breighner brings more than 40 years of experience to Doyon
Emerald in managing, directing and building business in the
government marketplace, serving such diverse customers as the
U.S. Department of Transportation; U.S. Treasury Department; U.S.
Air Force OSI; U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren; U.S.
Navy Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River; U.S. Navy SPAWAR,
Charleston; U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; and Defense
Intelligence Agency. Since the mid-1980s, he has served as a
corporate officer for small and disadvantaged firms, including Cairo, TSR, SYTEL, IMS
Technology Systems and Validity Corp.
Mr. Breighner is the former president of Bowhead Support Services. As Bowhead President, Breighner oversaw the management and operations of two government service companies, Bowhead Support Services (BSS) and Bowhead Information Technology Services (BITS) of Alexandria, Virginia. Under his leadership, Bowhead revenues grew from $850,000 in 1999 to $75 million in 2005, resulting in the company's selection as one of the Washington Metropolitan Area's "Top 25 8(a) Companies" in 2003 and 2004.
Mr. Breighner is an active member of the National Contract Management Association. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and earned graduate credits in network computer systems at the University of California - Los Angeles.
